Approach

I have been taking photographs since I was five, and producing them professionally for clients for the last fifteen years. The work is commercial: people, products and lifestyle, made for businesses and brands that need their visual content to do a job.

I am involved from the initial concept and art direction through to the final retouching, which means I do not just turn up and press the shutter. Most briefs start as a conversation about where the images need to work, and the shoot is built backwards from that.

Work has included Vodafone, Staedtler, Starling Bank, John Lewis, the BBC, NHS Cymru, Welsh National Opera, Sherman Theatre, Chapter Arts and Cycling UK. I shoot from my studio in Penarth and on location throughout the UK, and also run photography and video training.
